What would we do without Pinterest? How would we decorate our home? Find recipes? Plan a wedding? It’s hard to imagine what we did before Pinterest was around, when recipes were in cook books, home decor ideas were from magazines and wedding ideas were cut and glued into binders. Nowadays, we have one website and one account that holds everything we could ever dream of. We can create that model home, learn how to crochet (that we swear we’ll get around to doing) and most importantly, the ultimate dream wedding. However, as much as we love Pinterest, there is a side of us that absolutely hates it. Now we know what you’re probably thinking, “how can a wedding planner hate Pinterest?!” And that’s a totally reasonable thought. Which is why we want to address this today and now…before Pinterest takes over your life and wedding without you even realizing it!
THANKS IN LARGE PART TO PINTEREST, DO-IT-YOURSELF WEDDINGS ARE ALL THE RAGE. SOME PEOPLE HAVE THAT CRAFTY TALENT AND CAN DIY ALMOST THEIR ENTIRE WEDDING WHILE OTHERS, NOT SO MUCH. HOWEVER, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR LEVEL OF TALENT MAY BE, THERE ARE JUST SOME THINGS THAT SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE PROFESSIONALS. TODAY, WE DISCUSS DIY WEDDINGS AND WHERE YOU SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE HANDS-OFF THAN HANDS-ON. Let’s go!
We’re so excited to share a peek at all the love and fun that filled Haley + Bryan’s wedding day at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg this past April! These two were such a pleasure to plan with!! Whether we were busy was getting excited over her groom’s blue velvet tux or the flowers in her bouquet, most importantly Haley wanted to make sure we brought a taste of Florida into the experience for all their traveling guests ; both in the welcome bags we prepped and the amazing custom menu they so carefully chose, this wedding celebration was Haley + Bryan all the way! Enjoy their sweet wedding video below and see it all go down, including a fun story on how they met!

We are so excited to finally be posting this absolutely gorgeous and detailed wedding held at Centre Club in Tampa, FL. Not only was the room filled with florals, candles, and a spectacular dessert table, but you could actually feel the amount of love surrounding the room. Nick and Emily are undoubtedly perfect for each other and it was such a pleasure to work with this couple and their families to create this incredible wedding.
What a pleasure it was to work with Leah and Scott! Their wedding was to die for with mint and gold accents lining 220 West Seventh in Tampa, FL. The rooftop deck set the scene and not even full blown winds on a chilly night could stop these two from enjoying the best day of their lives. We only wish we could have worked with you both longer! Congratulations and without further ado, we welcome the new Mr & Mrs!
